These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of The Gift Haus Pty Ltd's Website, located at thegifthaus.com.au.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use The Gift Haus if you do not agree to accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

 

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and all Agreements:

"Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person logged onto this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Australia. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Prices and Payment

You agree to pay for all products and services you order. Prices given on our website exclude delivery. The price of products and services we offer may change without notice from time to time, but we will never change the price of anything you have already ordered and paid for. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars. We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Payment card use may be subject to processing fees, but you will be informed of those prior to finalising your purchase.

Ordering

You may order products from our site by placing an order through the product pages. By placing an order with us, you are making an offer to purchase the desired products and services from us. You are not permitted to order any products for resale to a third party. We reserve the right to accept or reject any offer you make us, for any reason, including but not limited to if the products requested are not available, payment not being processed successfully, we suspect your order is for commercial purposes, there is the possibility of fraud or there is an error in the price or description of the product you want to buy.

 

Each offer you make to us and accepted by us creates a separate and binding agreement between you and us for the supply of the relevant products. Maximum order sizes apply, if you have large requirements, please contact us direct by emailing us at info@thegifthaus.com.au. For us to put your order through, we need some information from you. Some of these include your name, contact details, billing address, delivery address and payment details. For information on how we obtain, store and use your personal information please see our Privacy Policy. You should receive a message on screen confirming your order once your payment has gone through. If you don’t, there may have been a problem with processing your order. Please let us know if this happens by emailing info@thegifthaus.com.au.

Delivery

We deliver Sydney wide. Delivery takes place between 8am to 5pm on the day selected. We are unable to specify an exact time for delivery. The delivery fee is payable in addition to the cost of your order and will be populated at check-out. We recommend you use a business address if there is a chance the recipient is not likely to be home. We request that the recipient be available to receive the delivery on the day of delivery. If no one is available to accept the delivery, then the box will be left outside the residence.
 

Unattended Deliveries

 

Due to the sheer volume of deliveries, thegifthaus.com.au and it's agents are not always in a position to contact gift-recipients and/or other parties by phone if/when the requested delivery location is unattended and/or to obtain further delivery instructions. It is important the customer provides clear and accurate delivery instructions when placing their order. We retain records for proof of delivery, and remains exempt from any liability or responsibility for loss or damage arising as a result of parcels being left safely and securely at unattended premises, and/or due to an incident arising from 'returned, melted, infested or undelivered' products.
 

Wrong Address

 

Should the delivery address supplied by the customer be incorrect or insufficient details provided, we cannot accept any responsibility for any loss experienced. It is the obligation of the customer to supply accurate details at the time of order. When supplied with an incorrect address, the box will be re-directed to our head office and disposed of as products no longer remain fresh. It is a commitment by us that all products be delivered at the highest quality and a decision will be made to dispose of re-directed products, once returned, at our discretion. Re-delivery on the same day will not always be guaranteed. In the case of a wrong or non-complete delivery address, It is the customer’s responsibility to decide on whether they would like to purchase another box and have it delivered to the correct address on a different day. In the case of a wrong or non-complete delivery address, the customer will lose the monies spent on the product, add-ons and delivery.
 

Delivery Schedule

 

Whilst every effort is made to adhere to the above delivery schedule, we use external couriers for all our deliveries, and occasionally situations arise which are out of our control resulting in slight delays in the above time frames. We cannot accept responsibility for these unfortunate events, but assure you that every effort is made to ensure your goods arrive on time.
 

Cancellation Policy

 

Orders can be cancelled 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date. Orders that are already prepared, dispatched or in transit cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Cancellation of an order incurs a $50.00 administrative fee. Money will be refunded less this fee.
If cancellation notice is received at less than 48 hour notice - cancellation is void.
A cancellation notice must be placed in writing via email to info@thegifthaus.com.au.

In the event that the customer needs the box re-delivered on the day of the delivery, the customer will be charged the same price for an additional box to be sent out. We do not offer cash refunds under any circumstances.

We employ the use of cookies. By accessing The Gift Haus, you agreed to use cookies in agreement with the The Gift Haus Pty Ltd's Privacy Policy. Most interactive websites use cookies to let us retrieve the user’s details for each visit. Cookies are used by our website to enable the functionality of certain areas to make it easier for people visiting our website. Some of our affiliate/advertising partners may also use cookies.

The Gift Haus Pty Ltd does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website. Liquor Information

 

Any alcohol featured in our gift boxes is designed to be delivered as a gift to a person over the age of 18. The gift can only be delivered to another adult who is not the purchaser. For all gifts with alcohol included, please ensure that the recipient is aged over 18 years and is available to receive the delivery.
